Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Install Technician to join the Robin Aire team. As an Install Technician, you will be responsible for installing HVAC systems for residential customers, including heating units, cooling units, air purifiers, humidifiers, and thermostats. Responsibilities:
- Complete tear out of old HVAC equipment and installation of new system.
- Test newly installed systems to ensure proper operation, air flow, and refrigerant charge.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate installations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations while working on HVAC systems, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering client questions, explaining system operation, and offering maintenance and energy-saving tips.
- Complete necessary detailing of job orders to accurately document all work performed.
Schedule:
- 4-day work week with 2-day, 3-day and 5-day break every 4 weeks
- 40 to 50-hour work schedules available, with voluntary options to sign up for additional hours
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and their components.
- Mechanically inclined and unwilling to cut corners.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Works effectively to complete jobs in a timely, efficient manner.
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Exceptional ability to communicate company deals, programs, and products to customers.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate installation with 2-3 other install technicians.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred, but not required
- Able to pass a driving record check and maintain a clean driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subsequent, periodic drug screening (including for marijuana)
- Hold OSHA and EPA certifications or willing to obtain
